“Oh my goodness, where is your waist going? “ “WOW, your face looks so slender!” “What are you doing, cause I don’t see you on a crazy diet or anything?!” These are a few of the comments that people have said to me over the last 10 weeks, not to mention that I have had to move my iPod up higher on my arm because it slides off in the other spot.

My fat loss journey has been challenging and amazing at the same time. I suppose that combination actually makes sense, but I never thought I would say something like this...ever. I, like many people struggle with my fat and weight and have tried so many different things only to realize that they are all lies and ways for companies to make more and more money.

When I heard about your book, I knew I had to get it right away. I had already been doing research and listening to my body and what works for me, I needed more information from real people who actually care about other people. I have the hope that one day this struggle will no longer be a struggle.

Then I found out about this 10-week challenge and decided it would be good for me to do.

About 3 weeks into the challenge, out of the total blue sky, one morning I woke up and my knee was huge and I could barely move it. I was immediately crushed. “Oh no! What is this? Why?" I thought. "I won’t be able to continue in this challenge.”

Then it hit me that just because I will not be able to continue my workouts the way that I wanted to, I did not have to give up.  That would be ridiculous. There were other things I could do. I had to make sure my food intake was right on point, this was crucial and seemed tricky because I was still in the“finding out what works best for me” phase. I also did a lot of the visualization techniques (on exercising) that were taught in the book.Sometimes I would wake up sore as if I had worked out. This was truly amazing and kind of scary at the same time. This taught me so much. I think that my knee injury happened so that I would learn more about my own strength and my journey.

So even though I am sure that I have not lost the most fat and/or weight during this challenge. I know that I will continue this journey that you have provided me with and I will be successful. I hope to be able to share this with the world one day.  Even if I don’t win, I know that I am still a winner.

Thank you so much for caring, and providing me with the tools to create a new ME!!!!
