This was a very interesting journey this time around with the ME program. I did this last year on my own and lost 19lbs and over 4.5% body fat. Since that time I have started traveling to NYC and Boston every week for 3-4 days for work. It has been a major adjustment and I have had to retrain my body. Before I could wake up, do an ME at 5am and then walk for 1 hour every single day. On the road you are faced with meetings all day, eating out every meal, and client dinners every night, so needless to say discipline is a must. What I have accomplished over the 10 weeks is great because it went outside of the numbers. I have realized that the time is there on the road and I as of the last 3 weeks, I am up at 4:45am to do my walk and I workout or run sprint intervals in the afternoon by blocking my calendar from appts. Every week presents its own set of challenges and my busiest weeks of the past 16 months fell on weeks 3-6 of this program, so I degressed during this time. I felt I could have made it under 10% with my dedication, but those 4 weeks I was on a plane almost 4 days a week. I will be to my goal of 7% within the next 3 months with a true commitment to the ME lifestyle. Upfront planing every week on Sunday night has been crucial to see how my travel schedule will work into my workouts.
