ME Certified Personal Trainer (ME-CPT) - This certification is a two day training for fitness professionals specializing in one-on-one and small group training. This is an advanced personal training certification with a prerequisite of a nationally recognized training certification required.
The Metabolic Effect Certified Personal Trainer learns the rest-based workout concept created by Metabolic Effect as it applies to one-on-one training. The workout tools, techniques, and philosophy of ME personal training center around the individual, hence the acronym ME. Each trainer learns not just the science of the workouts, but the art of application to all personality types. In this way, ME personal trainers learn to adapt to each individual giving them a wider reach and appeal to many different types of clients.
Metabolic Effect teaches what we call Metabolic Physique Conditioning (MPC). MPC merges the best of metabolic conditioning, functional exercise and physique development. These tools and techniques have special application in the world of body change and fat loss, but also excel at developing superior function and fitness.
The Metabolic Effect Personal Training workouts are built on the notion that both quality of movement and quantity of exercise can be merged. The workouts are designed to be short, intense and scalable. Over the course of the training instructors will learn metabolic conditioning, high volume and density training, compact chains, compound cardio, hybrid based exercise, concurrent training techniques, and many other cutting edge training tools and modalities. In addition, the certification teaches workout management with short-duration, higher intensity sessions, as well as cutting edge motivational skills and personality profiling practices.
